  We used to call this location for our unit because of the little things that would go wrong with it after it was initially installed. But the Receptionist is horrible, just absolutely horrible. Not only does she have a terrible attitude, I'm not even sure if she gave our request for service to the technicians as no one ever showed up. After countless calls, I asked my wife to call, in hopes of getting another person on the line, or to see if the receptionist would act better with a different personality. The same lady answered and she's just Rude Rude Rude. I wanted to rip the system out, but it was brand new. So we decided to call another location. These people were simply AWESOME!!! After months of dealing with a water softener system that didn't work for close to a year, we're finally working now thanks to another location. DO NOT USE THE MOKENA LOCATION. Sad, just Sad.

  Horrible customer service on maintenance calls. I've been a Culligan customer for about 10 years. On January 2, 2017, my unit conked out. With the holiday, the next available time for a service man was the afternoon of January 6. So, I worked from home, no TV, no radio, two dogs that can hear a pin drop....I don't know how he did it, but I noticed the Culligan missed call on the door at 2:15 pm. I'm not sure why he didn't call to give a heads up as to when he was coming (as is their policy) OR from the driveway.... So I called to ask about the "stealth bomber" technician. Manager said yes, they have been backed up, and we agreed, the technician likely did not try hard to knock. He thanked me for not yelling. I had a talk with the dogs. The next available service call we could both make was a week later. I called at 4:50 the day before to narrow the time. Manager said between 12 and 2:30, call him if there's an issue....no Culligan man. Called office. No Manager. Secretary cannot get a hold of any technicians for ETA. Rescheduled for a week later. Requested first call of day..."that's not possible, we save those for emergencies" Seriously. You can't schedule first call a week in advance, and IF an emergency comes that day let me know? So I took the "make in the morning" option but old them my drop dead latest to leave is noon for work appointments...it is 11:35 no Culligan Man. I understand, no first call, but really, you can't make it any earlier than 11:35. It has been 2 and a half weeks. Horrible, horrible service. Worst utility/business technician service ever.
  
  1-18-17 follow-up. Came home at 4:30pm to water in the bathroom across the wall from the softener. Looked at softener what was leaking water out the top. Called Culligan at 4:40. "That's terrible, put it on bypass." Which did not work. I asked, "can you get someone out here first thing?"...Culligan Man... "oh, well, I can't say until the Manager comes in tomorrow morning." Seriously, still can't pull the trigger on committing to the "first call" in case there's an emergency? Pretty sure that your equipment flooding a customers house is the DEFINITION of emergency. Thank God I can use a channellock wrench and managed to stop the spray of water.
  
  1-19-17 follow-up. Next morning, no call from Culligan so at 10am I called from work. Office person had no idea about the situation as the man from the night before did NOT pass on the information, and she was not in that day. Told her I would be home that day and the guy could come between a 4:30 and 5pm window. He showed up at 4:30 and spent about 30 minutes fixing the problem.
  
  Week of 1-23-17 Follow-up. Owner Dennis made several efforts to contact me. Finally spoke. He was very apologetic, explained that the entire situation was a learning experience for his staff to improve customer service and unsolicited, credited my account for two months. I guess being part of a situation that triggered a company-wide review of their procedures probably isn't what a customer wants, but in the end, they made efforts to turn the situation into a positive.
