  I had been a member for more that 8 years and decided to cancel my membership because I have not been able to use the club for 1/2 years due to caring for my elderly father. I have always paid my membership dues on time. When I went in to cancel my account an employee at the desk by the name of Joe told me he could not cancel my membership unless I paid this months dues. I gave him $19.95 dues and then he told me that I owed him an addition $49.95 annual dues and another $19.95 next months dues and a let fee of $15.00 since my card expired on January 15th, 2018. He then threaten to send me to collections if I did not update my credit card on file or pay him. I told him that I didn't have enough cash with me. I feel that threatening to seen someone who has been a long standing good member to collections in from of other staff members and club members if very unprofessional. I have very hurt by the treatment I received. I did pay my remaining balance and am glad that I am no longer a member of a club that treats members like this.
